Important things to know about Windows 7 upgrades..
Its not gonna be easy-peasy kids... but anyone that knows anything about installing an operating system doesn't upgrade anyhow! Fresh install for the win! Always!
Linkage - Windows 7 Upgrade
- Windows XP and below users are out of luck. You must have Windows Vista SP1 or newer to upgrade to Windows 7.
- You can't upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows Vista Starter Edition.
- If you're upgrading from Windows Vista, you must upgrade to one of the standard Windows 7 SKUs (meaning you can't upgrade to Windows N, Windows K, Windows KN, or Windows E.)
- Windows Vista's "Business" SKU is now called "Professional" in Windows 7. Don't be alarmed when you can't find Windows 7 "Business" on the shelves.

Still digging my Blackberry Tour, but the Storm still tempts me... My Take...
So far all has been good with my new Blackberry Tour 9630 on Verizon! I had missed a hard keyboard, but amazingly I have found that I can nearly type as fast on the screen of the Storm, if not faster because of the width of the keyboard in landscape mode.
The screen of the Storm will always rule, and size matters in pictures and web! At least the Tour is the same resolution in landscape, so I didn't take a loss there at all, its just smaller.
The Tour is more stable out of the box than the Storm, but with the release of 4.7.0.0.151, the Storm is amazing! Also, I installed 5.0.0.140 on the Storm tonight.. and amazing things are on the way for the Storm! WOW!
The memory on the Tour is double the Storm at 256megs and it shows! Its great for someone like me because I am always running programs in the background, such as Socialscope, Facebook, GoogleTalk, BerryWeather, etc. The more mem the better! However, there is no storage mem built into the Tour like the Storm so you need a mem card. Additionally, VZW shipped only a 2 gig card for Tour, vs, the 8 gig on the Storm.
App compatibility is only a bit better with the Tour, because of having a trackball, keyboard and the aspect of the screen, however, it runs 4.7.1x so a few apps still don't work like Qik, Quiklaunch, etc... However, the Storm has apps the rest of the trackball/scrollwheel Blackberries will never have....
All in all, I only have two qualms with my Blackberry Tour 9630 from Verizon Wireless.
1. The battery door on the back is nice, and not the crappy shiny plastic thing from a few months ago, and has a nice rubberized feel to it. Thank you Verizon!!! However, this bugger gets loose as a goose after a few days. I fixed it by putting a piece of black electrical tape below the back door catch, and all is well now... but still not right!
2. USB sync/charger placement... WTF? upside down on the middle lower right side? I always feel like I have to flip it over to charge it!
Oh.. and 3rd... which doesn't count.. I don't like half the new Tour owners... They complain about EVERYTHING! JUST LIKE THE STORM!
I think these people need a reality check and should have owned a Storm, or take a long hard look at the issues the iPhone people have had on AT&T in all their launches, and also the G1, or Google phone on T-Mobile as well...
Smart Phones take work!

Yes the Blackberry Tour is an awesome phone. I recommend it highly, and it should be a no brainer for VZW folk that are still on a 8330 Curve, or 8830 Worldphone.
