Blackberry Storm update .148 from Verizon on Sunday!
Finally an update from Verizon! .148 was approved, and should start rolling for OTA updates at 10pm Sunday night. On the 31st, download from BB website will be available after 3pm EST.

Customers will be able to get the update via the Web at www.blackberry.com/update beginning Sunday, May 31 from 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Verizon Wireless will also be rolling this update out to customers through an over-the-air download beginning Sunday night (10 p.m. Eastern Time). To get the download over the air, go to Options> Advanced Options > Wireless Updates.

Whats on my Blackberry? May 09 Edition
As a continuing series, I would like to share what I am currently using on my Blackberry Storm 9530 for applications. These may or may not work on other models as well...
1. SocialScope - This app lets me keep up with my Twitter peeps, and facebook friends as well as update them from anywhere. I can check everyones twitter posts, as well as real time Facebook status. I can also upload my own status on both networks as well. I can also insert pics that are uploaded to Twitpics as well. This app is still in a closed beta and getting access isn't easy.
2. GTalk - This is my primary IM client and what I talk to people most on. I am using this until BeeJive IM stops using so much damn battery!
3. Where - Where is an awesome app that lets you get directory info, maps, movies, weather, news, traffic, etc from your location either manually or using the built in GPS of your Blackberry.
4. Superpages - Superpages is an awesome portable version of their website and directory. Between this and Where, you should have no issue finding anything!
5. Google Maps w/ Latitude - Whats to say here? Gotta have Google maps! The best new feature is "Latitude". This lets me publish my GPS location to friends, as well as see theirs. Big Brother is watching! :)
6. Blackberry Messenger - The built in messaging application allows me to keep in contact with my BB pals.
7. Facebook - I can keep up to date with my Facebook account here, and update, as well as upload pics and such. Grab the latest version off Blackberry App World!
8. SmrtGuard - SmrtGuard is an application that backs up my Berry OTA, and also will let me find it, wipe it, etc if it ever gets lost. You can also remotely listen in on the phone from the website! Spy stuff!
9. Beejive Messenger - This app allows me to connect to all my IM networks. GTalk, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM, Facebook, etc. I liked it so much I bought it for my Curve, but using it in the background on my Storm so far chews through the battery too much!
10. Blackberry App World – This is the marketplace that allows you to download software directly to your Berry! Get it on the Blackberry.com homepage on your mobile.
